Hotels

With the exception of the very top end of the hotel market, Vilnius provides a wide selection of accommodation options in all parts of the city. Prices remain lower than in Western Europe, sometimes considerably lower, meaning staying right in the centre is always an option. Booking a room in advance is recommended, especially so during the summer.

  • Centrum Uniquestay Hotel
Beware of the "taxi service" this hotel runs. If you ask them to call a taxi to take you to the airport, they will kindly charge you 70 Litas for the short 6 km ride. Usually, it should not cost more than about 20 Litas; big tourist rip off.[...]

  • Europa Royale Vilnius
Great location right in the centre of the old town. And a nice secure parking lot at the back. But the hotel did feel a little old fashioned with dated decor in the rooms and bathrooms. That said, the room we had was a good size and the facilities a[...]

I've stayed here twice, and both times I found the B&B two brothers/owners/managers to be very hospitable, helpful and pleasant. The rooms are charming in an old-world fashion, cozy, and a bargain. The location, about one minute's[...]
